Eklingji Temple

Visit Eklingji, a little village with a number of ancient temples situated 22 kilometers away from Udaipur, and discover the Siva Temple that was built in 734. The walled complex includes an elaborately pillared hall under a large pyramidal roof and features a four faced Siva image of black marble. It has an ornate ‘mandap’ or pillared hall.

Shree Nathji Temple

Built in the early 18th century, this is the most celebrated of the Vaishnava shrine of Shri Nathji or Lord Krishna. Thousands of pilgrims from all parts of India visit this shrine everday, and the member exceed a lakh during Diwali, Holi and Janmashtami, Foreign visitors ae not permitted inside and no photography of this monument.

Haldighati

Haldighati at a comfortable distance of 40 kms from the city of Udaipur. At a distance of around 4 kms from the battlefield, a cenotaph (chattri) is built in pure white marble. This cenotaph is dedicated to the gallant horse Chetak as a sign of respect and admiration.The battle has been known since ages in murals and ballads.

Saas-Bahu Ka Mandir Nagda

Assignable to early eleventh century ad this twin vaishnava temple popularly known as sasbahu.The interior of the porch the pillars ceilings, architraves and the doorways however, are lavishly carved with relief sculptures and decorative designs. Makara-torana inside the mandap of the larger temple is a typical feature of medial temple of western in Indian style.

Ghasiyar Haveli

n Vikram Samvat 1672 in Falgun Vad Satam, (AD-1728) Shri Damodar Maharajji (ShriDauji) established ShreeNathji’s Paat in the mandir Haveli. It was all perfectly done with Vastu pratishta and pujan, according to Vedic rites. Slowly all the various rituals and festivals were started again here similar to the Govardhan hill. Since then Shreeji happily began living here at Mewar.
